I saw T3 this afternoon. It doesn't suck. It's not great, but it doesn't suck. That was the biggest surprise. The ending seems to beg for a sequel, but here's the thing: the storyline it seems to set up is the one everyone in creation has wanted to see on film since the first episode: the actual war between the machines and the human resistance. I'd actually like to see what they could do with that. Shades of Wolveriiiiines!!
Come to think of it, my original reason for signing on yesterday was not to write about the pirate movie at all, but to wish everyone a Felicitous Bastille Day. Today being my weekend, I'm celebrating two days late, with all the appropriate trappings: wine and explosives.
