It's the end of the semester and I haven't done a straight-up Post since This One. Well, no sense breaking that streak now. The movie keeps going, and no one in the audience has any idea.

And now, a rambling and disjointed post in which I attempt unsuccessfully to convey my joy over recent theatrical events, entitled "In A Cave Many Miles To The South/Lived A Boy Born With Fangs In His Mouth".
Can we talk about how Joe and I are actually going to get to do BATBOY? I had no reason to expect such a wonderful thing to happen and I am delighted! We went up there and auditioned and ended up snatching the leads out of the hands of a host of regulars. BWAHAHAHAHA!
I'm more excited about this than is strictly reasonable. GREAT musical! GREAT cast! NO REASON TO EXPECT IMMINENT DISASTER, and no three foot tall wigs or Cows as White as Milk! Weeeeeeee!
Hope you will all be able to come see it. Performance dates (I believe) are February 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, and 13. Should be excellent. And I would truly love for you all to be able to see me in a musical that DOESN'T make me weep uncontrollably in the dressing room every night from exhaustion and despair.
I really think this experience will be more along the lines of Garden and Whorehouse in terms of sheer enjoyment and pleasure, and that the overall feel of it will be BEAUTIFUL, a la Bashford and Cedeno.
