You know, call it neurotic, howl at the death of spontaneity, but I find the level of organization that goes into scheduling our winter break very comforting. Because, let's face it: Despite doing this with some regularity for ten years (TEN YEARS.), we are very, very bad at making plans at the last second.
I'm flying into Nashville on the afternoon of the 23rd (and going straight to Erin's). Can't wait to see you bastards.
so no love for danny on the 23rd? i live 2 exits past the airport. i demand at least a phone call if not a last minute "i got ditched and need you to pick me up and kidnap me."
i expect no less (ok, maybe a little).
i make no sense. i am now like 10 hours into a paper and only have like 4 pages. grrrr. damn school.
p.s. i graduate in like 18 days. so i am too lazy to look up your address. if you want a pretty little invitation(i know you can't come) get me your addy.
roo.
p.s. i am, have always been, and always will be peaches...no matter what jay and his condemnable little toola-rula say.
p.p.s. i need some sort of pyschiatric help, i think.
Posted by: Daniel-san at November 29, 2006 08:15 PMDanny, if I wasn't already going to be late when I land for a party three hours away, I would be all yours. I'm flying back to LA on New Year's Day sometime in the afternoon...coffee date, Nash-ways? If you're not drunk and hanging from a lamppost somewhere?
My new addy is in the mass email I sent out last week (I think it went to your school account, but if you didn't get it, check and I'll resend). OF COURSE I want an invitation. I can't be there in body, but I CAN tape it to my fridge like a proud mama. Which is not at all creepy.
Rooback.
PS Long as no one challenges my supremacy as Yoshi, we're golden. And can you STAND waiting for Wii Mario Kart? I cannot. I've only played the sports pack that comes with it, but my goodness, it's magical. My favorite game is golf, perhaps because it's unlike actual golf in every way. (I hit upon this reasoning when, during our massive Thanksgiving Wii Sports Smackdown, a frustrated home-run derby player observed, "You know why this game sucks? Because it's BASEBALL.")

Posted by: Holly at November 29, 2006 08:40 PMOh yes...it is neurotic. But I love it! And there are plenty of days left for spontaneous get-togethers. Why can't we have both???
Can't wait!
