See y'all Monday. I'll be back where I belong for two days and nights, and not a minute too soon.

Whatever you do, stay in Tuscaloosa and keep to the main roads.
Posted by: The Great Barstoolio at October 19, 2007 12:51 PMAin't skeered. I like it down there in the fall.
Posted by: Holly at October 19, 2007 01:04 PMWe sure kicked the shit out of Georgia this year. Remember the Georgia game? Why'd they even show up today goddamit? I'm going to watch Notre Dame get destroyed. That should make me feel better. Let's see, we could still win the division if Florida loses to Kentucky or SC and Georgia loses to Kentucky and Kentucky loses to Mississipi...aw fuck it.
Posted by: T Bag at October 20, 2007 01:30 PMThanks for the giggle. Conference math gymnastics right after a loss bugs the living hell out of me. The next person to come up to me and list the ways we could still win the East gets my foot on their throat.
Posted by: Holly at October 20, 2007 02:02 PMI came up with a nickname for our defense....it's the Morton Salt Defense...cuz When It Rains, It Pours
Posted by: Alex at October 20, 2007 04:28 PMHaha. Spurrier lost to Vanderbilt. This is almost as good as watching Tebow cry after the LSU game.
Posted by: T Bag at October 20, 2007 04:31 PMActual announcer quote: "Cox hangs so well in the pocket." That's what she said. BOOYAH!

Posted by: kleph at October 21, 2007 03:44 AMWhere is the horse and the rider?
Where is the horn that was blowing?
They have passed like rain on the mountains, like wind in the meadow.
The days have come down in the East, behind the hills, into shadow.
How did it come to this?
Posted by: Alex at October 21, 2007 08:51 AMI didn't know you graduated from 'Bama Kleph.
Interesting.
as far as i can determine, matriculating is not obligatory for one's allegiance to a team. but, in my case, it's somewhat necessary since the school i eventually graduated from lacks a football program.
Posted by: kleph at October 21, 2007 03:02 PMYes, we need a different word for kleph. He did attend the school, however briefly, so he's not a Daywalker, precisely...those goth chicks with bad skin and daddy issues that hang around the vampire clubs hoping to get bitten and join the underworld? What do we call those? That's kleph and Alabama.

Posted by: The Great Barstoolio at October 21, 2007 08:33 PMAh, so kleph is a Tide "familiar." Check the back of his neck for a Saban glyph.
Posted by: Signal to Noise at October 22, 2007 12:12 AMNotre Dame needs to go ahead and join the Big Teneleven. Then they need to rename it the Tender 12.
Posted by: T Bag at October 22, 2007 01:00 PMSay something to make the hurt go away, Holly
Posted by: Alex at October 22, 2007 04:12 PMYou already won the thread.
(I'm trying. It keeps coming out stupid. Not unlike our defense in the second half.)
