we've only just beeeeguuuun

Someone tell me when it's safe to go back on Facebook. By which I mean, WHEN THEY ARE NO LONGER RUNNING SAW IV ADS AND I AM NO LONGER CONFRONTED WITH SUDDEN AND UNWARRANTED PICTURES OF THE ONLY THING THAT SCARES ME MORE THAN CLOWNS--CLOWN PUPPETS.

(Seriously, how long should I wait to log back in? At least Thursday, to be safe, right?)

I've been terrified of puppets since I watched the Puppet Master movies. Not only were they evil, they were tiny enough to hide anywhere.

I think you're okay now. I logged in and got no ads for the torture-porn that is the Saw franchise.

I've had Adblock installed in Firefox for so long that I'd forgotten there were ads on most web sites. What's wrong with clowns? They're fun! Kids love them! And puppets are fun too. I don't see the problem here.

Now if they were ads with sock puppets, I'd be freaked out. But that's just me and Homer Simpson.

This was a sponsored ad in my news feed. Not blockable.

I haven't gotten that one. Which means there's only one conclusion: it's seeking YOU.

The movie's been out for weeks, right? And I hadn't seen it once before yesterday. No way in hell am I going back in there.

Despite the fact that the first nightmare I can remember having involved a giant clown (I couldn't have been more than 3), I have gone on to lead life reasonably clear of clown fear.

However, this post makes me pleased that I am too much of an old fart to be using Facebook.

In my defense, I was still in college when I joined. MySpace is the Rubicon for me. Nevah, evah.

I will never forget the look on your face when I snidely remarked about you "updating your MySpace blog". I honestly don't think I've ever gotten more joy from another human being's suffering than I did in that moment (and I'm a girl who loves the suffering of others: hence, my SEC fandom). Ohh....it was so priceless.

After seeing Hostel 2 last night, I'm now terrified of hot, naked, scythe-wielding women that bathe in blood.

Luckily I haven't seen any today......yet

The Saw movies are all about living your life right and cherishing every moment you're alive. I can't wait to watch them with my children someday.

Haven't seen any Saws, but I'd rather gnaw my own foot off than watch any Hostel movie ever the hell again.

Most terrifying of all? Yesterday on Maury (shut up, I'm unemployed) he was DRESSED UP AS THE SAW PUPPET.
