Boys, do you have a Nerd-Girl in your life? Do you love your Nerd-Girl? Take your Nerd-Girl to a live MST3K event, and she will be polydimethylsiloxane in your hands.

I'm on Team Mike as far as old cast/new cast (oh, shut UP; I was a ZYGOTE when the show premiered, practically), but watching Joel throw his head back and grin at the stars as The Doomsday Machine (FEATURING CASEY KASEM) unspooled in the amphitheater was a once-in-a-lifetime nerdgasm. I don't have much else that's articulate to say about Saturday night, hereinafter referred to as The Greatest Night Of My Life. My I Love LA/I Hate LA needle swings in a wide arc, but this'll leave it hovering over the bit with the palm trees and dirty air for a while.
Oh, and the ENTIRE CAST, all of them, are reuniting for a Patton Oswalt-moderated panel at Comic-Con. Anyone else got the shakes?
July 25th, I think, and there's no way in hell either of us will get in, so we may as well go on and die now.

Ask me sometime the story about him when he was one of the early Jimmy Kimmel writers.
Posted by: TheStarterWife at June 23, 2008 05:27 PMJOEL! JOEL! JOEL! JOEL!
If you ever had any doubt, I present exhibit A: The Tickle Bazooka. Adorable.
Now come on, you know I don't dislike Joel in the slightest, in any way. I just came of age in Season 8 and believe it can never be surpassed.
Posted by: Holly at June 23, 2008 09:00 PMGlory be to Season 8. I call for retrospective.
