Several things that I have to say before kickoff this morning:

* I stand by my assertion that Georgia is grotesquely overrated. You mark my words. MARK ME.
* Maryland has the potential to go 8-4 this year. I would have said 9-3, but the fact that they have Virginia AND Virginia Tech away concerns me.
* Appalachian State may be hot, hot, hot, but I don't think they've made allowances for the hellish inferno that is Tiger Stadium, or the spiciness of the cajun barbecue sauch in which LSU fans will dip them.

If you haven't heard in the hubbub of the day, my prediction was wrong, and Eric Ainge did make the Jets roster. Despite having OMG!!TEH FAVRE!!, they went with 4 QBs. Mangenius, dontcha know.
