ARP ARP ARPOCALYPSE

Still just completely gobsmacked over everything that happened yesterday. It took me four hours to fall asleep last night. So today is a day of contemplation. Unplugging, driving through the desert to San Diego, and decompressing at least until dark.

Leaving with these thoughts:

  • There are trained football professionals on Tennessee's sidelines, men who have devoted their lives to this game, and somewhere there's at least one of them looking at all available data, evaluating this team's strengths and weaknesses, and deciding that Jonathan Crompton passing on third down will work.
  • Alabama's trip to Baton Rouge just got a lot more interesting.

For those of us with games on the schedule that pre-date the Saban Bowl, let's hope that Bammer's looking ahead as well. Los Gatos Wild-os are not to be overlooked (yet, anyway).

Doesn't Arian Foster have two functional lower extremities?

There's no evidence to suggest that, no.

Here's what I expect to hear:
Uncle Verne: "Oh my, it seems like that man is carrying a head on a stick. Oh the wonderful local color of Baton Rouge!"
