Before the jokes about nobody in Alabama having color TV kick in, let's mourn this for just a minute:
Kiffin and UT athletic director Mike Hamilton said Monday that Alabama denied Tennessee's request to wear orange jerseys against the No. 1-ranked Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.Would that we had enough healthy personnel to just wear them anyway and take the penalty. And what's Bama worried about anyway? It's not like wearing orange to Tuscaloosa is all of a sudden going to give us a passing game. This would've been great television."We tried," Kiffin said. "Talking with some people in the offseason about the history here and both teams wearing the home jersey, I thought that would be something really neat for our fans and for their fans, too."
Saban says: He who brags about stealing one of my coaches and then expects favors in return is very naive.

The thought of the Tide wearing crimson into Neyland isn't as terrifying to us as orange in BDS apparently is to Bama fans.
Posted by: Holly at October 20, 2009 03:43 PMIt's about as stupid and pointless as Tennessee denying Auburn a Tiger Walk. That being said, this kind of mindless idiocy and aggression is exactly what I expect from and love about SEC football. "Because FUCK orange, that's why!"
